IBT’s new full-service 80,660 SF facility was opened in 2023, located in Ft Worth on the 820 loop at I-35. It is adjacent to the FedEx freight facility and convenient to all intermodal connections, including both the Union Pacific and BNSF rail ramps and the DFW airport. The facility serves as the Gulf hub to service Ft Worth Metroplex area, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Accommodations include 19 dock doors and 1 drive-in door, and a gated yard for up to (50) 53’ domestic trailers staffed 24/7 and fully secured. Our equipment fleet consists of tri-axle chassis and standard chassis contracted through our chassis pool providers.

Slader was introduced to trucking at an early age, growing up and working at his family’sregional trucking company. He then left to join the United States Army where he spent 23 years of his career working in the supply chain and logistics field. He joined IBT as Vice President in November of 2023 and oversees the Gulf Coast Region and the newest IBT locations in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas. He holds an MBA from Belhaven University and has almost 30 years of industry experience in Drayage, Warehousing, Brokerage and Domestic Services. His hobbies include supporting charities such as “Adopt a Beach” and “Action on Poverty” as well as fishing, and hunting.
