IBT Houston is a new, full-service 59,400 SF facility located with easy access to I-10, just 8 miles to the Barbour’s Cut Terminal and 12 miles to the Bayport Terminal. The facility is extensive, including 11 dock doors, 1 drive-in door accommodating 53’ domestic trailers, a 28’ clear height ceiling and a gated yard with lighted parking for 25 trailers, all staffed 24/7 and fully secured. IBT Houston is centrally located, for service to and from the southwestern and southern states, via all intermodal connections. IBT’s equipment availability is extensive, including standard and tri-axle chassis provided through pool providers.

Slader was introduced to trucking at an early age, growing up and working at his family’sregional trucking company. He then left to join the United States Army where he spent 23 years of his career working in the supply chain and logistics field. He joined IBT as Vice President in November of 2023 and oversees the Gulf Coast Region and the newest IBT locations in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas. He holds an MBA from Belhaven University and has almost 30 years of industry experience in Drayage, Warehousing, Brokerage and Domestic Services. His hobbies include supporting charities such as “Adopt a Beach” and “Action on Poverty” as well as fishing, and hunting.
